The Reality on TV

America's got talent, and obviously a lot of time on their hands. So much so, that we must be entertained by someone else's reality? If one more reality program is aired I am going to scream!!! Unless... I'm going to get paid. How's this for a show idea? A camera crew comes into my home and records me watching 'reality tv'. Then they follow me to my weekly therapy sessions where I confess my love for Scott Baio, the heart throb of "Charles in Charge". The reality is, we enjoy seeing other people get dumped, eat worms, get caught cheating or be the weakest link. Are we that desperate to see someone else fail or are we just trying to brace ourselves for our own failures or are we just that pathetic? I know, I know reality TV is good TV. It'll make you laugh, make you cry and make you talk to your best friend between commercials.

In the words of my hero Frenchie "Oh contrayer, mon frayer". Reality tv is the cloak and dagger in the hearts of the execs who have made the world of TV a "mystery". The small screen should represent the little guy, and if he snatches 15 minutes why not.....
I can assure you that if you captured "lil pooky" going to jail instead of "PH" it would be a lot more interesting.
Yes we are pathetic, yes we like to watch the misery of others. What is the problem? We are doing this anyway.

Haven't you ever been involved in a conversation or a "scene" that you thought to yourself "I wish somebody was taping that!!!!" Well dont hate because you didnt think of it first. But...it is not too late, if you would like, I,(VLK),could produce a show from your living room that the Screech COULD sell to pay his mortgage. Just a thought.

yes yes. defend it the way someone would defend shi$#y politics or religious zealots or other marks of fine marks of human defecation. go right ahead but it doesn't change the fact that reality TV is pure capitalistic vomit ... and well those who participate or ... even watch it ... hmm.

yea go ahead and sob and retort. sob and retort. sob and retort some more.

regardless of what ol Johnnie Cochran has to say here, i liked your post and agree.
